FAQs
1. Is this retreat for me if I have no experience in facilitating psychedelics?
Yes, this retreat is for you! Whether you have experience with psychedelics or not, Presence-Centered Leadership™ is designed to deepen your skills in space holding, transformational leadership, and therapeutic practice. We believe that everyone has the potential to cultivate these qualities, and no prior experience is necessary. The program provides comprehensive guidance and support, making it suitable for both beginners and seasoned practitioners.
2. What is Presence-Centered Leadership™ (PCL) and how will it benefit me?
Presence-Centered Leadership™ is a holistic approach that integrates principles from transpersonal psychology, client-centered techniques, situational leadership, and shamanic practices. It’s designed to help you develop the skills to lead with presence, empathy, and authenticity. This retreat will benefit anyone looking to enhance their ability to hold space for others, facilitate personal transformation, and embody these principles in both personal and professional settings.
3. What should I expect from the 9-day immersive retreat?
The 9-day retreat is an in-depth, experiential journey that includes workshops, psilocybin ceremonies, and integration sessions. You will dive deep into the principles of PCL, working closely with facilitators and fellow participants. Expect a mix of structured activities and intuitive, holistic practices that balance heart and mind, structure and flow, being and doing.
4. Is prior experience with psychedelics required to join the retreat?
Yes, but with an emphasis on having a personal reference point rather than extensive experience. While you don’t need to be a seasoned psychonaut, having at least some experience with psychedelics can help you understand the importance of set, setting, and integration. We aim to move beyond the basics of skillfully navigating psychedelics to a deeper, more meaningful connection with these experiences. In fact, less is sometimes more—those who dedicate time to proper integration often gain more profound insights than those who frequently use psychedelics without reflection. This retreat will help you build on your personal experiences, whatever level they may be, to foster greater growth and understanding.
5. How will I be supported during the retreat?
You will receive comprehensive support throughout the retreat. This includes six group preparation and integration sessions, private 1:1 calls with lead facilitators, and ongoing access to our education platform. Our experienced team is dedicated to ensuring your safety, comfort, and personal growth during the entire process.

9. What are the dietary and lifestyle recommendations leading up to the retreat?
We recommend following a specific diet and lifestyle practices before the retreat to optimize your experience. This includes reducing or eliminating certain foods, substances, and activities that may interfere with the psilocybin ceremonies. Detailed guidelines will be provided in your preparation materials, which also emphasize the importance of setting intentions and creating a clear mental and emotional space for the journey ahead.
10. What is the group size, and how does that impact the experience?
Our retreats are intentionally small, with a maximum of 12 participants. This ensures a more personalized experience, allowing for deeper connections with facilitators and fellow participants. The intimate group size fosters a supportive and safe environment, where everyone can feel seen, heard, and nurtured throughout their journey.
