Donations
We believe in reciprocity - the practices of generosity and gratitude. These practices are considered foundations on which to build a regenerative life in many of the worldās wisdom traditions.
Our scholarships would not be possible without the generous donations of others who have the means to give back. Since our founding in 2017, we have donated over ā¬70,000 in scholarship value to participants from our own pocket. To ensure the ongoing success of our Scholarship Fund, we rely on donations from kind people like you. Your donation can directly help people in need improve their lives and benefit from transformative experiences with us. Supporting scholarships is one way we can build a more inclusive community and contribute to regenerative-based social change.
Generosity practice need not always be monetary. Daily generosity might include a gentle smile and a kind word for someone in need, a long enfolding hug for a suffering friend, truly listening to someoneās story, or volunteering to help. And, of course, financial generosity is crucial to building a caring society based on the flow of our love and resources. The practice of giving is universally recognized as one of the most basic human virtues, a quality that testifies to the depth of oneās humanity. We, therefore, hope to inspire those that can to step into the act of contribution and donate towards our scholarship initiative.

Scholarship
AWAKEN THE MEDICINE WITHIN is committed to offering financial assistance to those who need it. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to participation in our retreats. If you cannot attend a retreat due to cost, we encourage you to apply for financial assistance.
How does the scholarship work?
Each request for financial assistance is assessed in terms of financial need and funds availability.
Each individual may be awarded part scholarships or payment plans, there is a maximum of two scholarships per retreat.
A request for scholarship funding does not influence your acceptance into a retreat.
Scholarships do not cover travel or (travel) insurance.
Payment plans
If it would be financially helpful to pay for your retreat over a period of time, we do offer an installment option to ease the burden of paying a retreat fee all at once.
A minimum deposit is due for all attendees and the balance must be paid in full prior to the start of the retreat.
Your automatic deductions can be set for a maximum of 3 monthly installments; however, all payments must be complete prior to the retreat start. Installments can no longer be paid following a retreat.

Giving access to two - four scholarship / financial assistance spots per retreat.
A percentage of our profit from our community platform goes toward our scholarship
When our clients book a private session with one of our facilitators, 20% is added to the cost that goes toward our scholarship
Who we support in right relationship:
We believe in the power of plant medicine and psychedelics to heal and transform individuals and communities. Our organization supports individual healers, researchers, local communities, and organizations working to advance research and education in plant medicine and psychedelics.
We prioritize supporting local communities that preserve traditional practices, bio-diversity and knowledge. Investing in these communities supports their livelihoods and contributes to the preservation of vital knowledge and practices passed down through generations. We also donate to organizations that advance research and education around plant medicine to educate the wider public about its uses and potential risks.
We strive to be transparent about our donations and their impact. Our goal is to contribute to a more sustainable and equitable plant medicine ecosystem that benefits everyone involved. Some of the smaller initiatives that we have financial support are: INDIGENOUS MEDICINE CONSERVATION FUND, The Fountainountain.earth/, kosmicare, de groene boederij, ancestral heart, divina vida, grandmother flordemayo, grand mother medicine song 13 grandmothers and many more individuals and smaller collectives.
